Healthier Babies - health of both men and women before a conception The wars of the twentieth century and their aftermaths
( The effects of food shortage
on human reproduction )
demonstrated that the health of women before pregnancy affects the health of
their babies. All the works on this website are concerned with the health before
a conception of both men and women. The highest susceptibility to damage in the
human life cycle is in the period immediately before ovulation during a woman\'s
follicular phase. A second period of high susceptibility to damage is the 48
hours immediately following fertilisation. Susceptibility diminishes during
pregnancy as the baby grows.

The Elements of Health and Disease in the Soil (McCarrison Society Conference 2003) The importance of trace elements to the human body has largely been ignored.
However, they are vital for our internal defence against oxidative cell damage, the maintenance of energy metabolism and the brain, and the translation of the genetic code. Deficiencies in the food we eat put these systems at risk. "Click the title for more..
