What are Tags?

Social tagging or Folksonomy is a concept new to the Internet and exemplified by http://del.icio.us

This web service allows web users to gather together a set of related webpages for quick reference, linked by Tags or keywords that the researcher considers important. Unlike "bookmarks" or "favourites" however, they can be shared by all Internet users, or made private to Members.

A new way to share "Links" and create a community of collaborating organisations

You may click on the links on the DEL.ICIO.US menu to the left on any page of this website, or

  General Tags for McCarrison Society

  Nutrition specific tags

You can use the Back arrow to return here, or click on the McCarrisonsociety.org.uk link when you have viewed the other tags. You will find that other web users, worldwide, have also tagged some of the websites, and you can go and see their descriptions and tags, and so explore the ground swell of interest and participation. If you find a website that you feel should be added to our list, then you may save it, directly to our list if we have given you a log-in password. If not, you can create your own (currently free) del.icio.us account and save it yourself, and send it to us by putting "for:mccarrison: as one of the tags.
