Here we shall be presenting some of the work-in-progress of the Committee of the Society, where you will be able to comment on our discussions while you are logged-in at the main website www.mccarrisonsociety.org.uk
We have made some major changes in appearance and navigation of the web-site.
We are also upgrading the Membership system for several reasons:
to allow people a single interface to Register as a website user (free), or to upgrade to Online-only or Full Membership, and to book for Conferences etc, using secure online payment or to pay by cheque etc.
Free registered Users may read and download the archives of early Newsletters. They can also comment on articles and write at the WIKI.
to allow for an Online-only Membership priced at £10 per annum, giving access to all the Published content while logged-in, including Current newsletters, and a regular E-newsletter, compared with that seen by the public or those with the basic free Registered status. They may also contribute Articles to be considered for publication.
to select a £40 per annum Full Member Subscription that provides hard-copy learned Journal, “Nutrition and Health” as well as the online facilities, and occasional Conference discounts. They may also contribute Articles for consideration, and receive Conference discounts from time to time.
Discussion
DM's comment moved to Committee pages. TB
my link to Committe-wiki appears not to function.
I'd like to urge people also to use Skype. Its so much more immediate, and with far less buttons to click.
Seemingly I have no link to the Committee wiki. Please advise. Thanks.
AGM stuff looks OK to me. DM.
Trevor is right. It's pointless all of us firing off emails independently; we all need to use the committee wiki. This takes some discipline, practice, getting used to. I seem to have had a monopoly on this wiki… no msgs from anyone else so far, unless they've been disappeared… comments please… let's see if we can get the hang of it. DM
